VITA Performance Testing ("we", "us", "our") provides mobile lactate threshold testing services across Edinburgh and the Central Belt of Scotland. For the purposes of UK data protection law, India Fraser, trading as VITA Performance Testing, is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

• Name, email address, phone number
• Address or location for mobile test visits
• Payment information (processed by our booking/payment provider — we do not store full card details ourselves)
• Health and medical information you disclose before testing (see Section 3 — this is treated as special category data)
• Training history, goals, and any information you choose to share to help us tailor your zones/plan

Information collected automatically (if applicable to your final site):

• Basic website usage data (e.g. via analytics), if you use any tracking/analytics tools
• Cookies — see Section 8

Some of the information we ask for before a test — including cardiovascular history, medications, pregnancy status, and similar health details — is "special category data" under UK GDPR. We only collect this because it's necessary to run the test safely and interpret your results correctly.

We rely on your explicit consent to process this data. You will be asked to complete a health screening and consent form before any test. You can withdraw this consent at any time, though we may not be able to provide the service without it.

We do not use your health information for any purpose other than delivering and interpreting your test, unless you separately agree otherwise.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:

• Our booking and payment platform ([NAME — e.g. Acuity Scheduling]), to manage appointments and take payment
• HMRC or our accountant, where required for tax/financial record-keeping
• Emergency services or a named emergency contact, only if required during a testing session for your safety

We do not share your health information with any third party for marketing or unrelated purposes.

• Booking and contact details: retained for as long as you remain an active or returning client, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping
• Health screening and consent forms: retained for 6 years. 
• Financial records: retained for as long as required by HMRC (currently at least 5 years after the relevant tax year)

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal/record-keeping obligations
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is our legal basis)
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled

Our services are intended for adults (18+). If you are under 18 and wish to be tested, we require the consent of a parent or guardian, who must also complete the health screening and consent form on your behalf.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
